Driving Directions to the Cottages From Miami: take I-75 west to Naples. Continue on I-75 until you reach the Fort Myers Exit for Colonial Blvd. Follow the directions from Colonial Blvd. To the Cottages. Driving Directions to the Cottages FROM Fort Myers' Regional Southwest Airport: Take the airport exit to Daniels Parkway west to the ramp for Interstate-75. Go NORTH on I-75 to the Colonial Boulevard exit. Go west (left) at the exit. You will cross over Highway 41 at the Edison Mall, you will cross over the toll bridge across the Caloosahatchee River ( $1 toll). The road changes names to Veteran's Memorial Parkway. Continue on this road for several miles past Santa Barbara St. to a stop light at Pine Island Road. Go WEST (Left) on Pine Island Road 5 miles into Matlacha. You will cross over the Matlacha Bridge ( over the Matlacha Pass). On the north side of the road (right side) in approximately 1/2 mile you will see the cluster of cottages: 4756- 4760 Pine Island Road . There are pineapple flags on the front of the buildings and malibu lights in the front gardens. Signs and flags mark the cottages. FROM Interstate 75: Take the Pine Island Road/State Road 78 exit - WEST for approximately 23 miles. You will cross over Highway 41, Del Prado Boulevard, and Santa Barbara Boulevard ( Publix Grocery Store location) and continue into Matlacha. Cross over the Matlacha Bridge (drawbridge over the Matlacha pass) for approximately 1/2 mile to 4756 Pine Island Road on the NORTH (right) side of the road. Yellow, pink and green cottages are located next to each other. Signs, pineapple flags and Malibu garden lighting mark the cottages. Park in front of the cottages off the main pavement. From the Tampa Area: Coming from the Tampa area take I-75 South towards Fort Myers and Naples to the Pine Island Road Exit.
